Description

Cozy Pension, where young and old feel at home. Located directly on the ski carousel, trails and hiking trails, Bike Arena and the Sauerland Höhestrasse.

The Gasterei has 13 spacious rooms (2-, 3- and 4- persons), each with a separate bathroom with shower and toilet, a guest lounge, breakfast and dinner room, ski cellar, wifi, terrace with barbecue facilities and parking.

An extensive breakfast is served in the breakfast and dining room, the evening meal consists of daily changing menus for guests who wish to take advantage of this.

Bicycle and motorcycle friendly Pension.

Pets are allowed in consultation (partly depending on occupancy).

Directly on the "Hochsauerland Höhenstrasse", the tour ring road of the Sauerland.
Part of the Bike Arena, 1700 km with 45 marked out routes, near the Bike Park and on various walking routes (Rothaarsteig). The possibilities for trips by car, motorcycle, bicycle or on foot through the incredibly beautiful landscape are endless! Routes are available on paper but are also created in GPS file.

The Gasterei is affiliated with the BikeArena Hoch Sauerland and has received the highest qualification of this; Komfort Biker Spezial Tipp !.
De Gasterei has a limited indoor parking, cleaning and repair area for bicycles. Tools are available. We also have a drying room and laundry service for clothes.

Since Winterberg-Alt Astenberg is the highest village in Hochsauerland and it has enough snow cannons, it is very snow-sure here.

Next to the front door of the Gasterei is the ski school with practice slopes, various blue, red and even black (FIS) slopes. Of course there is also a sledge lift. The ski school has Dutch speaking teachers.

With a local multi-day ski pass you also have access to the ski areas in the immediate vicinity (including Winterberg, Neuastenberg, Züschen, Willingen).

Eine Vorauszahlung von 50% kann nach Buchung berechnet werden.
Stornierungen bis zu 2 Tage vor Anreise sind kostenfrei. Spätere Stornierungen werden mit 80% des Gesamtpreises berechnet.

Arrival description

From Cologne: Take the A4 towards Engelskirchen to exit 30-Krombach, where you connect to the B54. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and continue to Krombach. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the B517 towards Hofolpe. At Kirchhundem you leave the B517 and continue towards B236. Then follow the B236 towards Schmallenberg to Oberkirchen. From there, follow the signs to Altastenberg.
